A new build end of terrace house on a challengingly narrow site. The proposed building forms the 'stop end ' to an existing row of two storey Victorian terrace houses. The proposal sought to optimise the area of floor space, along this narrow plot by positioning the entrance along the long edge and effectively splitting the building in two about the central circulation core. The controlled use of brick and timber was used as a design tool to gain an additional floor.
